4th of July, a Day of Thanks, an Evening of Fireworks

Independence Day is of course more than just a day off from work and a chance to set off a ton of fireworks. It’s a federal holiday commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 by the Continental Congress.

We also take the time to thank members of the military for their service to America. Yes, there are other holidays in which to remember the living veterans and those who have passed on. But, for what they face, you can never say thank you enough.

It’s also a time for businesses in the community to have 4th of July sales. Bright red, white and blue banners, posters, flyers, etc. are everywhere.

Hey, full disclosure, we have a sale, too. Buy one, get one, of selected tanning products and services (see store for specific items and restrictions). We think that gives you a nice variety of options, whether you are a beginner, intermediate or regular customer. You will want your tan to look “hot” for the first big party of summer!

Hot Spots for Fireworks

Speaking of options, as we may have readers from throughout Wisconsin, we thought it might be helpful to provide a list of great spots to see a fireworks show (data compiled from the Travel Wisconsin website.

(Please check dates; some of the fireworks shows are on Monday, rather than Tuesday night)

Whether you catch the fireworks in your town, at one of these top Wisconsin sites, or on TV, we want to wish you a Happy 4th of July. Our Hudson store hours are 9am-3pm on Monday and closed on Tuesday (Minneapolis store is open 9am-5pm on Monday and closed as well on Tuesday).
